The essentials

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads no content from third-party servers. Fonts are hosted on our own server. We only process personal data when you visit the site (server log files) and when you write to us to join the waiting list.

Controller

Hosting and server log files

The website runs on our own virtual server at Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The server is located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Our mailbox hello@hidden-love.de is also hosted by Hostinger. We have a data processing agreement with Hostinger under Art. 28 GDPR.

With every visit, the server automatically processes data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the page you came from, browser and operating system, and the status of the request. This is necessary to deliver the page to you and to protect the server against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We do not combine the log files with other data and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes.

Waiting list by email or Instagram

You join the waiting list by sending us an email at hello@hidden-love.de or a direct message on Instagram. We only use your email address or Instagram name and your message to reply to you and to let you know as soon as the first night and further Hidden Love dates are set. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give with your message. This is voluntary. The waiting list is intended for people aged 18 and over.

When we email several guests at once, we put all addresses in BCC so nobody can see anyone else’s address. For direct messages on Instagram, the privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. also applies. Meta also processes the messages on servers in the USA. Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this, and the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

We keep your details for as long as you want to be informed. Just write to us if you want to be removed from the list, and we will delete them. We only keep your original message as proof of your consent for as long as we need it to defend against claims (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR).

Contact by email

If you write to us for any other reason, we process your details to answer your request. If it concerns a contract with us, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, otherwise our legitimate interest in replying under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the emails once the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Instagram

We only refer to Instagram with a plain link. No data is sent to Instagram when you visit our site. Only when you click the link are you taken to Instagram, where the privacy policy of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. applies.

No automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions about you and do not create profiles.

Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
• withdraw your consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Just write to us at hello@hidden-love.de.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany.
